Install a Jet Template on a Server

To launch a Jet on a Server, the corresponding Jet Template must be installed on it first.

The Template installation wizard lets you choose a server and start the installation. After you confirm, a Jet Installation task is created and the template (and any missing dependencies) is installed.

Note

You can install a Jet Template on multiple servers at once.

Opening the wizard

You can open the Template installation wizard in two ways:

From a Jet Template — Open the template form and use the action to install it on a server.

From a Server — Open the server form and use the action to install a template on that server.

After confirmation

When you confirm the wizard:

1. A new Jet Installation task is created. You can follow its progress in the installation tasks list.

1. All dependent templates are installed automatically if they are not already installed on the server.

2. When the installation finishes, the task is completed.

Where to see installed templates and servers

After installation:

• On the Server — Open the server form and check the Jet Templates tab to see which templates are installed on that server.

• On the Template — Open the Jet Template form and check the Installed on Servers tab to see which servers have this template installed.
