Launch a New Jet

The Jet launch wizard lets you create a new Jet easily. You choose a Jet Template and a Server; the wizard creates the Jet and resolves dependencies automatically.

Prerequisites

The Jet Template must be installed on the server before you can launch a Jet from it. On the template, Show in Wizard must be enabled if you want it to appear in the wizard. See Install a Jet Template on a Server for how to install a template.

Opening the wizard

You can open the Jet launch wizard in three ways:

From the Jets menu — Go to Cetmix Tower > Jets and use Launch new jet.

From a Jet Template — Open the template form and click the "New Jet" button to launch a new Jet from that template.

From a Server — Open the server form and click the "New Jet" to launch a new Jet on that server.

In the wizard, select the Jet Template and Server, then click Confirm to create the Jet.

After confirmation

When you click Confirm in the wizard:

1. The Jet is created and dependencies are resolved automatically. All required Jets (from template dependencies) are created as needed.

1. To see the Jets on a server, open the Server form and click the Jets button (or smart button showing the jet count).
