User Settings

To allow users to access the Cetmix Tower:

• Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users and select a user or create a new one.
• Specify access level in the "Access Level" field of the "Cetmix Tower" section.

Access Levels

User

Has basic access to the Cetmix Tower features:

• View Servers where he is added as follower.
• Run Commands and Flight Plans with "User" access level.

Manager

Has extended access to the Cetmix Tower features:

• View and modify Servers where he is added as follower.
• Run Commands and Flight Plans with "Manager" access level.
• Create new:
  • Servers
  • Server Templates
  • Commands
  • Flight Plans
  • Files
  • File Templates
  • Variables
  • Secrets/Keys

Root

Has unlimited access to all Cetmix Tower features.

Access Roles

In some entities like Servers, Server Templates, Commands, Flight Plans, File Templates, Secrets/Keys and Git Projects it is possible to configure specific access to the entity for specific users.

There are two types of access roles:

• User. Grants read access to the entity. Requires the user to have User or Manager access level.
• Manager. Grants read and write access to the entity, allows to add new records. Requires the user to have Manager access level.

Warning

Access rules may vary for different entities. In some records like Server Template or Git Project minimum access level required to be added in "Users" is Manager.

YAML Export/Import

Access to the YAML export/import features is configured using the dedicated settings in the user profile:

• YAML Export. Set to "Allow" to allow user to export records to YAML files.
• YAML Import. Set to "Allow" to allow user to import records from YAML files.
