This module expands the virtual capablities of the Cetmix Tower free module for those who needs even more. It introduces a set of new features:

Configuration

Please ensure that you have read the documentation for Cetmix Tower before configuring this module.

Configure Shortcuts

To configure shortcuts go to the Cetmix Tower/Settings/Shortcuts menu, click Create and fill the values:

  • Name: Will be used as a shortcut caption
  • Access Level: Members of which user group have access to this shortcut
  • Active: Disable to archive the a shortcut
  • Sequence: Positional order of the shortcut in list. Lower number is higher
  • Action: Following options are available:
    • Command: Execute command. Activates the following fields:
      • Command: Command to execute
      • Use sudo: Execute command using sudo
    • Flight Plan: Execute flight plan. Activates the following fields:
      • Flight Plan: Flight plan to execute
  • Servers: List of servers where this shortcut is available

Important: shortcut access level overrides its command or flight plan access level. Eg. if a shortcut has User access level but the command it runs has Manager access level members of the User group will be able to run this shortcut without restriction.

Add Shortcuts to a Server

To add a shortcut to a server:

  • Select a server and open it in the form view
  • Activate the “Shortcuts” tab of the notebook
  • Add shortcuts in the list

Usage

Running a Shortcut

To run a shortcut:

  • Select a server and open it in the form view
  • Activate the “Shortcuts” tab of the notebook
  • Click the “run” icon located on the right side of the shortcut
  • Check shortcut execution result in the command ot flight plan log based on the shortcut type
